So a quick walk with the girls so they can get out and about on the scooters despite it being pretty chilly and windy! Another great time capturing some video for memories sake and taking some action snaps of them out and about practicing!

Yeah thats right its that time of year again where the family are together celebrating the past 12 months and making up some loose promises for the coming year! Well, this year has been a little more special on a number of counts but mainly as we now have Samantha Lillie to join in the fun. Admittedly she isnt old enough to completely enjoy it but its been a blessing she is with us. The other reason of course is that Nikita and Isabel are overwhelmed by the thought of Santa and his reindeers running around dropping off presents. I left out the mandatory mice pie, milk and carrot for them all whilst they are out on their merry way!
Anyway, I know we will have a fantastic Christmas and New Year’s so we’d like to wish you all the very best over this festive period and may 2012 bring you good fortune etc, etc. Sure things will be exciting around Weymouth what with the sporting events!!!!! Not.

Well, yet again its that time of year again when everything in the house stops to remember my brother. Its been 17 years since he passed away and not a moment goes by that he isn’t in our thoughts. Jessica, Isabel and Nikita are in no doubt who Darren is now and that he is in the ‘stars’ keeping an eye on them. Samantha was born this year and obviously too young to understand who Darren was but they to will be shown and made aware of Darren who I know would have been a fantastic Uncle to them all, including Jessica.

Darren you are sadly missed and I know you would have been a very kind and generous Uncle who would have loved popping round to see them all. I reckon you’d have loved being around them at Christmas and its not a sad day today as we celebrate the life you did have. I know that I have missed out on loads not having a brother around, but making the best of things and ensuring this day is purely for you and mum.
This is your day Darren, You are not forgotten. All my, our love and rest in peace.
